Four weekly online sessions to prepare the ground for the journey ahead
May 1-5
Five-day immersive psilocybin retreat in the Netherlands countryside
May–October
Four weekly online sessions
Followed by four monthly sessions
and a final reunion session

Thursdays, April 1 · 8 · 15 · 22, 2027
1:15-3:15 PM Eastern USA, 7:15-9:15 PM Central Europe
Daily home practice: 30–45 minutes of guided meditation/movement and journaling prompts.
Unhurried time in nature encouraged!
These first four sessions lay the ground for the retreat and our whole seven-month journey
.
We will practice mindfulness of breath and body, learn ways of working with difficulty rather than around it, and begin the slower process of settling into the body.
Using mindful awareness, we will cultivate compassion and nature connectedness.
Moving at the speed of trust, you will have shared your hopes and concerns for your journey and listened to the hopes and concerns of your fellow journeyers.
We will also use this time to develop our intentions for the journey, practice surrendering instead of resisting, and discuss the practicalities of what to expect on the retreat and on the psilocybin ceremony day.
By the time you arrive in the Netherlands, the women in our group will already know one another, and have shared expereince turning toward present moment sensations. This will ease the transition into the retreat, when it arrives.
Five Day Retreat in the Netherlands
Saturday, 1 May – Wednesday, 5 May 2027
A coach collects you from Amsterdam Schiphol Airport at 3 PM. You arrive at The Wierschuur in the late afternoon.
The first evening is deliberately unhurried: settle into your room, walk the land, eat together, and meet for an opening circle.
A full day of practice, movement, rest, and time outdoors.
In the afternoon, you prepare specifically for the following day — what will happen and when, what may arise, how to work with fear, how to ask for help, and where each facilitator will be throughout the experience.

The central psychedelic session takes place using psilocybin-containing truffles (sclerotia).
In the Netherlands, these truffles are legal to buy, possess, and consume.
The day begins slowly with a light breakfast and short practice before the session opens in the ceremony space in the morning.
Most people lie down with eyeshades; others may sit or move. A carefully curated soundtrack provides structure and support.
Effects usually begin within an hour and last approximately four to six hours.
Constant Support
You are not alone. Facilitators are present throughout at a ratio of one facilitator to every two participants.
If you need to talk, walk outside, ask for help, or simply have someone sit beside you, someone is there.
The day closes gently with food, warmth, low light, and a short closing circle.
This day is for sacred rest.
We will hold a circle where anyone who wants to speak can be heard without interpretation or advice.
The rest of the day is for walking, resting, eating, silence, being outdoors, and simply being.
A closing practice and circle, a final meal together, and the coach back to Schiphol at midday.

Across the five days, the program also includes:
The land itself is part of the experience.

Four more weekly sessions:
Thursdays, May 13 · 20 · 27 · June 3
1:15-3:15 PM Eastern USA, 7:15-9:15 PM Central Europe
Daily home practice: 30–45 minutes of guided meditation/movement and journaling prompts.
Unhurried time in nature encouraged!
Four Weekly post-retreat sessions happen while the experience is still fresh. Here we can maximise the learning from the expanded states od consciousness you experienced on retreat, and weave them into the fabric of your daily life.
Followed by Extended Integration:
8 July · 5 August · 2 September · 7 October
These later monthly sessions give you support and consistency as you reflect on how you are bringing the lessons of your journey into life, and what still is asking for a change. .

Yes. We work with psilocybin-containing truffles (sclerotia), which are legal to buy, possess, and consume in the Netherlands. Psilocybin mushrooms were banned in 2008; truffles were not included in that ban and are regulated as a food product. Guided retreats using them operate lawfully.
No, this retreat is intentionally embedded in a group course to support cohesion, safety, and to provide you with a friendly and familiar social container for doing your own deep work. Our world prioritises individiual growth, and we can counter that by purposefully connecting with the other: the power of witnessing, and being witnessed by, fellow journeyers. There are many retreats out there that have minimal preparation/integration, and our robust, integrated mindfulness preparation and integration course set us apart.
We ask you to commit to the eight weekly preparation and integration sessions in April, May, and June, and monthly sessions into October because they are what makes the retreat work and because the group is building trust and doing important work together. Life happens, and we would rather you tell us than disappear — but this is a program rather than a series of drop-in classes.
No. Some people will arrive with years of practice and some with none. The four weeks before the retreat are designed to build what you need from wherever you are starting. What matters most is willingness to practice between sessions. You can expect 30-45 minutes of daily home practice.
Women with any or no spiritual/religious framework are welcome. While we move collectively into closer communion with our interconnectedness with nature and each other, we will support everyone's personal journey, and their unique deepening of meaning and mystery. We will hold the space with reverence for the sacredness of love, connection, and nature.
Because safety is what makes depth possible, and a circle of women promotes a sense of safety that can be harder to find in other groups. The freedom to think less about how you are being perceived is worth a great deal on a retreat like this.
Difficult parts of journeys are common and are not a sign that something has gone wrong. Much of the preparation is about how to meet them — staying with a hard feeling, asking for help, remembering that it will pass. On the journey day, there is a facilitator for every two participants, and you will never be left alone. The following day is protected, with plenty of time for rest, sharing, and the supportive presence of others and nature.
The mental and physical health suitability review covers personal and family psychiatric history, current medications, and relevant physical health. It happens as part of your conversation with us, before a place is confirmed. We are not clinicians, and this is not a medical assessment — where something needs a doctor's or therapist's judgment, we will ask you to speak with yours.
No, Vibrant Depths is designed to promote flourishing, and is not intended for people experiencing intense mental health distress. We encourage participants to continue or begin personal therapy during the course and retreat period, as ongoing therapeutic support can help deepen the learnring from psychedelic expereinces.
We will gather together in a converted barn in North Holland. Every bedroom has its own bathroom with a rain shower. There are single, twin, and three-bed rooms, and you choose when you book. The meals are chef-prepared and vegan.
Yes. A deposit secures your place, and the balance is spread over monthly payments to March 2027.
Our cancellation terms are set out on the Course + Retreat page. In short, the earlier you tell us, the more we can refund. This is why travel insurance is required — it covers the circumstances we cannot.
Yes, and we encourage it. When you let us know you are applying together, and you and your friend each receive €300 off. This retreat can be a beautiful experience to share with a loved one.
